Our Risk Management & Emergency Procedure on School Trips course is designed to build confidence and competence in the planning, delivery and review of risk management procedures when undertaking educational visits and trips.

Through this interactive and hands-on course, we look at real-life examples, local standards and documentation, and integrate practical tasks to review and develop the school’s own policies and procedures.

Goals:

Our course aims to empower teachers and school administration planning and leading school trips to:

understand the supervisory duties and safety standards- local and international
understand the risk management cycle and different stages of risk assessment
develop or improve school risk management systems
understand their role and responsibility in the risk management process
be able to identify, rate and reduce potential risks and hazards
be prepared to deal with the unexpected in a calm, systematic and confident way
deliver authentic learning experiences with robust systems and reduced paperwork
