Women’s Alpine Progression Course

Women’s Alpine Progression Course

A weekend course to build the technique, judgement and confidence to tackle more demanding mountain terrain

Have you already discovered the joy of mountain hiking and hut-to-hut trekking, but find yourself hesitating when the terrain becomes steeper, looser or more exposed?

Many hikers reach a point where fitness is no longer the limiting factor. Instead, confidence becomes the barrier. How do you move efficiently on scree? What should you do when the path becomes exposed? How do you stay calm and make good decisions when scrambling or navigating more complex terrain?

Over three days in the spectacular Karwendel mountains, this course will help you develop the practical movement skills, mountain judgement and confidence needed to progress beyond straightforward hiking trails.

Through guided practice, coaching and real-world experience, you'll learn how to move more confidently on scree, steep terrain and easy scrambling routes while developing the decision-making skills required for safe and enjoyable mountain adventures.

In a supportive women-only environment, you'll be encouraged to challenge yourself at your own pace, expand your comfort zone and discover what you're truly capable of in the mountains.
